AMMAN — Senate President Faisal Fayez on Thursday was awarded the Abu Bakr Al Siddeek Medal of the Second Class presented to him by the Arab Red Crescent and Red Cross Organisation (ARCO), in recognition of his service to the country and for his humanitarian efforts.
ARCO Secretary General Saleh Twejeri said that this medal is only awarded to prime ministers and prominent figures with major contributions to the humanitarian and charitable fields as well as joint Arab action.
Fayez expressed his appreciation for ARCO’s humanitarian role, noting that the Kingdom has always been a destination for security and stability seekers who fled from killing, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
