Senate panel meets delegation from Jordanian Businessmen Association

AMMAN — The Senate’s Finance and Economy Committee on Thursday met with the president and members of the Jordanian Businessmen Association (JBA), and discussed economic challenges and relevant laws.
Attendees looked into issues related to finance, investment, laws and partnership between the public and private sectors, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
Senator Rajai Muasher, chair of the panel, referred to issues related to the industrial sector, such as the importance of hiring local manpower and boosting national industries.
JBA President Hamdi Tabbaa said the association had prepared a report on several economic issues with some recommendations, which was presented to the committee for consideration.
