Senate donates JD10,000 to JOHUD

AMMAN — The Senate, through its social solidarity fund that was established early last year, on Wednesday donated JD10,000 to the Jordanian Hashemite Fund for Human Development (JOHUD).
Senate President Faisal Fayez said that the Upper Chamber, as of Thursday, would extend financial assistance of up to JD160,000 to several institutions, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
The president called on all to shoulder national responsibility under these difficult economic conditions facing citizens and to have initiatives that aim at empowering citizens to face such challenges.
