Senate approves draft amendments to traffic, PPP laws

AMMAN — The Senate on Tuesday approved draft amendments to the Traffic Law for the year 2023 and the public-private partnership (PPP) draft law, as referred from the Lower House. The traffic bill introduced a stricter framework for offences that result in loss of life and endanger road users. The PPP draft law, a key response to the Economic Modernisation Vision, promotes collaboration with the private sector, according to the Jordan News Agency, Petra.
