Saturday’s school day moved to October 22

AMMAN — Deputy Prime Minister for Services and Education Minister Mohammad Thneibat on Thursday decided to move Saturday’s school day at public, military and UNRWA schools to October 22, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported. Sunday is a public holiday to mark the occasion of the Hijri New Year, according to the Islamic lunar calendar.
