Safadi, UAE foreign minister talk region

AMMAN — Foreign Minister Ayman Safadi and his Emirati counterpart Abdullah Al Nahyan on Saturday discussed ways to overcome regional challenges and achieve peace and security on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly meetings in New York. They also went over ways to enhance bilateral relations, according to a Foreign Ministry statement.
The two top diplomats also discussed efforts to end the Palestine-Israel conflict. “United Arab Emirates’ (UAE) security is an integral part of Jordan’s security,” Safadi said, noting that Jordan supports the UAE in any step it takes to defend its security and stability, according to the statement.
