Safadi meets EU, Chinese representatives

AMMAN — Foreign Minister Ayman Safadi on Tuesday met with EU Special Representative for the Middle East Peace Process Fernando Gentilini, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
During the meeting, Safadi and Gentilini discussed efforts to resume “serious and active peace talks” to reach a solution to the Palestinian-Israeli conflict, on the basis of the two-state solution.
Also on Tuesday, Safadi met with the special chinese Envoy to Syria Xie Xiaoyan and discussed the latest developments of the Syrian crisis and efforts to halt fighting and reach a political solution.
