AMMAN — Royal Medical Services (RMS) Director General Maj. Gen. Muin Habashneh has praised the efforts of RMS in providing medical care for Syrian refugees at the northern borders, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported on Monday.
During a lecture at the international military medical conference MEDEVAC, which was held in London, Habashneh stressed that during the Syrian crisis, the Jordan Armed Forces-Arab Army has sent specialised teams to support refugees.
He added that the RMS is also offering medical services through the military field hospital in Zaatari refugee camp, which was supplied with personnel and medical equipment. He noted that the crisis is a challenge to Jordan’s health sector due to the increase in the number of patients.
