Representatives of Arab human rights centres to meet in Amman

AMMAN — The 12th Conference of the Arab Network for National Human Rights Institutions, hosted by the National Centre For Human Rights (NCHR), will commence next Sunday, with the participation of 14 Arab countries.
The two-day conference will discuss the annual report of the network, as well as its work programme for the next three years, NCHR Chief Commissioner Mousa Burayzat said. Moreover, he said the conference will adopt the standards for supporting member institutions within the network.
During the conference, the NCHR will take over the network’s presidency, succeeding its Egyptian counterpart, Burayzat said.
