Qatari embassy opens World Cup tent at King Hussein Business Park

AMMAN — The Qatari embassy in Amman on Sunday inaugurated the World Cup tent at King Hussein Business Park to showcase the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 opening ceremony.
Qatar’s Ambassador to Jordan Sheikh Saud Bin Nasser Bin Jassim Al Thani, during the event that witnessed the participation of a number of ministers, lawmakers, as well as media and cultural figures, among others, said that Doha has proved its ability and efficiency in organising this prominent global sporting event.
In press remarks on the sidelines of the ceremony, the diplomat commended the Kingdom's support for Qatar while it was hit by criticism, highlighting the two countries’ shared interests and “solid” bilateral relations in various fields, according to the Jordan News Agency, Petra.
