AMMAN — The Qatari ministry of health on Thursday added Jordan to its "green" list of countries that are safe to travel and return as part of the Gulf country’s update to its COVID travel rules.
Qatar listed Jordan on the "red" list of countries two weeks ago.
In a statement posted on its website, the Qatari ministry of health said the new classification will take effect as of Sunday, December 19, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
The ministry posted the procedures for arrivals from countries classified on the "green, red and exceptional-red" lists with regard to COVID-19 testing and quarantine.
The Qatari ministry of health also added a number of Arab countries to its "green" travel list, in addition to Jordan.
