‘Public, private sector cooperation needed to integrate people with disabilities’

IRBID — HH Prince Mired, president of the Higher Council for the Affairs of People with Disabilities, on Saturday underlined the council’s commitment to supporting effective initiatives that aim to enhance services provided for people with disabilities.

Attending a charity iftar held by Al Nahda Society for Physical Challenges, he said more efforts are required to improve the quality of life for persons with disabilities.

The prince called for more cooperation among the public and private sectors to help integrate those with disabilities into the community.

On Sunday, the prince, who is also president of the Hashemite Charity Society for Soldiers with Special Needs, attended an iftar banquet held by the society.
