AMMAN — The Princess Sumaya University for Technology (PSUT) on Monday announced launching the 15th edition of the Queen Rania National Entrepreneurship Competition for 2025, organised in collaboration with the Queen Rania Centre for Entrepreneurship at PSUT and iPARK at the Royal Scientific Society.

For the third time, this year’s edition is sponsored by Orange Corners, supported by the Dutch embassy in Amman, and in a strategic partnership with the Zain Innovation Campus (ZINC), the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.

PSUT President Wejdan Abu Elhaija said that the competition, organised annually across all governorates, focuses on technological projects, where participants are invited to present innovative ideas designed to enhance their entrepreneurial skills and develop their business plans.

She said the directives of HRH Princess Sumaya bint El Hassan, chair of the university’s board of trustees, emphasize fostering leadership and innovation among young people toward tangible contributions to the development of society.

Director of the Queen Rania Centre for Entrepreneurship Mohammed Obeidat noted that the competition targets unregistered projects without an established business model or plan, as well as start-ups less than a year old, where finalists will receive full incubation services and financial support to develop their ventures.

Executive Director of iPARK Serene Duwayri stressed the importance of entrepreneurship in the national economy and creating new opportunities for youth.

She affirmed iPARK’s commitment, for the third consecutive year, to supporting programmes that empower entrepreneurs with the necessary tools and skills to turn ideas into successful businesses.
