PSUT graduate honoured with prestigious NASA award

AMMAN — Princess Sumaya University for Technology (PSUT) graduate Dr Salem Al Nimri was recently awarded with a NASA Exceptional Achievement Medal, according to a statement sent from PSUT.
Nimri graduated from PSUT in 2004 and currently works at NASA's Goddard Space Flight Centre. Nimri has led a team of NASA engineers in deploying new systems to serve low-Earth orbit satellites and conducted experiments on future communication protocols, as well as published more than 30 research papers in refereed scientific journals and conferences, according to the statement.
NASA's most prestigious award, the NASA Exceptional Achievement Medal, is given in recognition of significant contributions made to NASA missions.
