PSD arrests suspect for insulting Dead Sea victims on social media

AMMAN — The Public Prosecutor decided to detain a person for one week for insulting the victims of the Dead Sea incident, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
The detainee was referred to the Preventive Security Department for spreading dispraise against the Dead Sea victims. Public Security Department (PSD) Spokesperson Lt. Col.
Amir Sartawi said that upon the public prosecutor’s request, preventive security personnel tracked people who spread hatred and insulted the Dead Sea victims and their families through social media networks.
