PSD agent reportedly fires accidental shots near US embassy, spokesperson says

AMMAN — The Public Security Directorate’s (PSD) media spokesperson on Sunday said that while a security agent was on duty in the vicinity of the US embassy, several shots were fired from his weapon “by mistake” and hit an external concrete wall.
The PSD spokesperson stressed in a statement that there were no injuries, adding that an investigation has been launched into the incident, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
