Princess Sumaya University students win gold medal at competition

AMMAN — Princess Sumaya University for Technology (PSUT) won the gold medal in the 2018 Arabic Programming Competition held in Egypt recently, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
A total of 130 Arab teams participated in the event, Petra added. PSUT came in first among participating Jordanian universities and second among Arab countries.
The programming competitions aimed at developing students’ software capabilities and transforming their ideas into integrated successes by creating a spirit of competition and teamwork to reach technological solutions to problems.
President of PSUT Mashhour Rifai congratulated the winning teams and their supervisors on their achievement, expressing his pride in the university students and professors.
He also voiced his appreciation to HRH Princess Sumaya for her ongoing support to the university.
