Princess Ghida honours winners of KHCF media award

AMMAN — HRH Princess Ghida Talal, chairperson of the King Hussein Cancer Foundation (KHCF) and the King Hussein Cancer Centre (KHCC), on Wednesday honoured the winners of the KHCF media award, which aims at raising awareness about breast cancer early detection and combatting smoking.

During the ceremony, attended by Minister of State for Media Affairs Amjad Adaileh, Princess Ghida expressed pride in media figures’ achievements and efforts towards supporting KHCC, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.

The prizes, awarded to media figures and university students, covered print media, op-eds, TV, radio and social media, among others. Princess Ghida also honoured individual and corporate supporters of the award.
