Princess Basma Street to close for BRT construction

AMMAN — The Greater Amman Municipality (GAM) on Saturday announced that part of Princess Basma Street will be closed on Monday to continue the second phase of the Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) project, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
The second phase includes establishing a 5km BRT route extending from the intersection of Muhammad Ali Jinnah and Princess Basma streets, and through Princess Basma and Prince Ali Bin Al Hussein streets all the way to Ali Bin Abi Taleb Street. GAM called for taking alternative routes that include Oqba Bin Nafi, Cairo, and Saad Zaghloul streets.
