Prince Mired checks on services provided to injured servicemen

AMMAN — HH Prince Mired, president of the Hashemite Commission for Disabled Soldiers, on Wednesday met with president and members of the Lower House Administrative Committee as part of the panel's efforts and coordination with various state institutions to check on the commission's efforts in offering various services to injured servicemen and their families.
Prince Mired praised the big attention His Majesty King Abdullah, the Supreme Commander of the Jordan Armed Forces-Arab Army (JAF), pays to matters pertaining to the injured military personnel, in appreciation of their sacrifices to the homeland, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
Retired Brig. Gen. Marwan Turk, director general of the commission, briefed members of the committee on the top tasks and duties of the commission to serve injured servicemen and their families. At the end of the visit, head of the committee MP Ali Tarawneh and other members toured the commission and checked on its facilities.
