Prince Feisal deputises for King at 93rd Hashemite Scientific Council

AMMAN — Deputising for His Majesty King Abdullah, HRH Prince Feisal on Friday attended the 93rd Hashemite Scientific Council at the Royal Cultural Centre, the third to be held this year, on Othman Bin Affan, one of Prophet Mohammad’s companions and the third caliph.

Speakers at the council highlighted the life of Othman Bin Affan, especially his role in the compilation of the standard version of the Koran, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.

The council’s upcoming session will be on Ali Bin Abi Talib, fourth caliph.
