Prime minister mourns passing of former minister

AMMAN — Prime Minister Bisher Khasawneh on Monday mourned the passing of former minister Omar Nimr Nabulsi, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
Khasawneh expressed his deepest condolences and sympathy to Nabulsi’s family.
Khasawneh highlighted Nabulsi’s notable contributions, who served as Minister of National Economy from 1970 to 1971, Minister of Agriculture in 1973, and Minister of Labor and Construction between 1979 and 1980.
He was also appointed as a member of the Senate in 1989, a member of the National Advisory Council, assistant to the chief of the Royal Hashemite Court, Jordan’s ambassador to the United Kingdom and The Netherlands, and a diplomatic attaché at the General Secretariat of the Arab League.
