Prime Minister-designate Omar Razzaz

Razzaz, the education minister in the outgoing government of Hani Mulki, holds a PhD from Harvard University in planning with a minor in economics, and a post-doctorate from Harvard Law School.
Earlier he served as chairman of the Jordan Strategy Forum and chairman of the board of trustees of the King Abdullah II Fund for Development.
He also headed the International Commission for Evaluating Privatisation in Jordan (2013-2014) and led the national team responsible for preparing the National Employment Strategy in 2011-2012.
Razzaz also served as director general of the Social Security Corporation (2006-2010). He also was country manager at the World Bank's Lebanon country office (2002-2006).
