Police arrest 95 on drug charges

AMMAN — The Anti-Narcotics Department has arrested 95 suspected drug dealers and users. The suspects were reportedly found in possession of various quantities of narcotics, firearms and counterfeit currency, the Public Security Department (PSD) announced on Monday.
The PSD added that the suspected drug dealers arrested during last week's security campaign were from Amman, Aqaba and Maan, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
All the suspects were transferred to the State Security Court’s prosecutor general, the statement added.
