Police arrest 19 suspects

AMMAN — The Ruseifa Police Department on Tuesday arrested 18 people wanted for different cases, according to a security source. Security personnel implemented raids to arrest several suspects, apprehending a suspect in his thirties wanted for 30 cases and another in his twenties wanted for 14 cases in an apartment in Hai Al Jundi, a security source told the Jordan News Agency, Petra. Police personnel seized stolen items found in the apartment.

Also on Tuesday, a man in his thirties was shot in the abdomen in a brawl that took place in Awajan, another source told Petra. Civil Defence Department cadres took the injured man to Prince Feisal Hospital where he was listed in critical condition. Police arrested the suspected shooter and started questioning him.
