PM visits Department of Lands and Survey

AMMAN — Prime Minister and Minister of Defence Bisher Al Khasawneh on Wednesday made a surprise visit to the Department of Lands and Survey (DLS), the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
Khasawneh stressed the need to remove any bureaucratic obstacles that forestall people’s access to services.
He urged the department to work with continuity, accuracy and rationality, in order to protect private and public rights and properties.
The prime minister directed the department to automate services, in accordance with appropriate standards, to reduce human interference and improve the quality and speed of services.
The Jordanian administration is committed to the rule of law, he highlighted, stressing the need for the highest levels of transparency and integrity.
The prime minister pointed out the necessity of keeping pace with the investment efforts and programmes to support the private sector. The minister stressed the need for clear, transparent and automated procedures to ensure these efforts can support existing and future investments.
