PM meets wih head of Agriculture Committee to discuss taxes, production

AMMAN — Prime Minister Omar Razzaz on Thursday met with President of the Lower House’s Agriculture Committee MP Khalid Hiari, over challenges facing the agricultural sector. Items discussed included taxes on the sector and inputs of the agricultural production, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.

Razzaz stressed that the government will give the necessary attention to the sector in light of its importance in supporting the national economy, highlighting that the Cabinet will discuss taxes imposed on the sector in the next few weeks.
