PM hears from consumers ahead of Ramadan

AMMAN — Prime Minister Bisher Khasawneh on Monday paid a visit to the military and civil service consumer corporations in Muqabalain and Ras Al Ain ahead of Ramadan.

The prime minister commended the corporations for their key role in keeping a sufficient stock of goods and supplies to the public at reasonable prices in all their branches that are spread across the Kingdom, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.

He assured the public that a strategic stock of main commodities is in sufficient supply for long periods. Khasawneh spoke with shoppers and listened to their complaints about the availability and prices of various items.

During his tour, the prime minister was briefed by the Director of the Military Service Consumer Corporation, Col. Mohammad Hadid, and Civil Service Consumer Corporation Director Salman Qudah, who said that all branches have sufficient supplies of all food at affordable prices.
