Peacekeepers distribute aid in Congo

AMMAN — Jordan’s peacekeeping contingent in the Democratic Republic of Congo distributed humanitarian aid over the past week to residents of Nobili, a statement from the Jordan Armed Forces said on Sunday.
The assistance included food supplies provided to the people of the area.
Contingent Commander Lt. Col. Mohammad Ghadayreh said the Congo contingent members are working to maintain security and stability with the international peacekeeping force.
