AMMAN — Paper permits issued to employees in the private and industrial sectors will soon become invalid due to a new mechanism developed for issuing e-permits, Industry, Trade and Supply Minister Tareq Hammouri said on Tuesday.
During a press briefing at the National Centre for Security and Crisis Management, Hammouri stressed that all applications for permits will be revised and if any permit is issued to people who do not need them, they and those responsible for issuing these permits will be referred to the concerned authorities, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
The minister added that compulsory insurance for vehicles has been extended automatically, providing that fees are paid after the end of the Defence Order. Private medical insurance companies are now allowed to observe partial working hours to issue insurance cards for beneficiaries as well, Hammouri said.
