AMMAN — Palestinian Ambassador to Jordan Atallah Khairi on Tuesday commended the Kingdom’s stances in supporting Palestine, especially in the difficult circumstances Palestine is experiencing in the face of the coronavirus crisis.

Khairi also praised the Royal directives to stakeholders to deliver aid to Palestine, mainly in the form of medicines and medical equipment, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.

The diplomat expressed appreciation for the efforts of the Foreign Ministry, Health Ministry, the Jordan Armed Forces-Arab Army and all other institutions that contributed to facilitating the return of Palestinians who were housed in quarantine in “high-end” hotels. JAF buses carried the returnees to the border, where the border bridge was opened exclusively for their return, the envoy said.

Palestinians who were quarantined in Jordan received the “best treatment and attention” from Health Ministry personnel, the ambassador said.
