Over 4.1m eligible to vote in elections — IEC

AMMAN — Some 4,139,730 people are eligible to vote in the upcoming elections, according to the Independent Election Commission (IEC), which received the voting lists on Saturday.
IEC Chief Commissioner Khaled Kalaldeh said the commission will work to attest the lists according to the law within three days, adding that the lists cannot be amended under any circumstances, according to an IEC statement.
Kalaldeh noted that the lists will be published on the commission’s website and urged voters to check their names and the polling stations where they will be voting.
