Optional social security subscribers rise to 67,658

AMMAN — A total of 18,135 Jordanians optionally subscribed to the Social Security Corporation (SSC) in 2014, raising the overall number of effective optional subscribers to 67,658, the SSC media centre announced Sunday.

The total number of subscribers stands at 137,446, according to an SSC statement.

Optional subscription to the SSC enabled 22,000 Jordanians to receive pensions.
