One dead, eight injured in separate accidents

JERASH — One man died and two people were injured when a car overturned in Bani Kinanah District, according to the Civil Defence Department.

CDD personnel administered first aid and took the injured to Prince Rashid Military Hospital, where they were listed in fair condition.

Also on Sunday, six people were injured in a three-car pileup in Jerash, according to the Public Security Department.

The accident took place after a vehicle skidded, due to water flowing from a broken pipe in the area, overturning and colliding into two other vehicles.
