Oddat meets with Brazil, Kosovo ambassadors

AMMAN — Lower House Speaker Abdulminem Oddat on Monday met with the ambassadors of Brazil and Kosovo to Jordan and discussed ways to bolster bilateral relations and joint parliamentary cooperation, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
During the meetings, Oddat reaffirmed Jordan's stance towards the Palestinian cause, stressing Palestinians' right to establishing their own independent state, with East Jerusalem as its capital. He highlighted that the stability and security of the region are contingent to achieving a just and comprehensive peace that ensures Palestinians their legitimate rights.
During his meeting with Brazilian Ambassador to Jordan Ruy Amaral, Oddat pointed to the necessity of enhancing cooperation in a number of sectors to serve mutual interests, emphasising the need to develop joint parliamentary work.
In his meeting with Kosovo’s Ambassador to Jordan Ilir Dugolli, Oddat discussed collaboration in a myriad of sectors to fulfil the interests and aspirations of the peoples of both countries, Petra reported.
