New CEO of Queen Rania Teacher Academy assumes office

AMMAN — Osama Obeidat on Sunday assumed office as the CEO of the Queen Rania Teacher Academy, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
Obeidat has over 20 years of experience in the education related quality, policies, assessment and evaluation processes, with six years of experience as director of the school education quality department in Abu Dhabi and five years in the education college at the Hashemite University, according to Petra.
He holds a PhD degree in education development from the University of Pittsburgh, a certificate in assessment practices from the George Washington University and in executive leadership from INSEAD.
The academy is a non-profit, independent, national institution that was officially inaugurated in June, 2009 under the patronage of Her Majesty Queen Rania.
