National Charter Party applauds JAF’s efforts in combating drug trafficking, ensuring national security

AMMAN — The National Charter Party on Saturday commended the efforts of the Jordan Armed Forces-the Arab Army (JAF) in thwarting drug trafficking attempt into Jordan.  The party reiterated its full support for the efforts of JAF's border guards, security agencies, the Public Security Directorate (PSD), and the Anti-Narcotics Department to confront drug and arms smuggling gangs aiming to threaten the kingdom's security and stability, as reported by the Jordan News Agency, Petra. The Secretary-General of the party Mohammad Momani emphasised the national necessity of combating these gangs, highlighting the importance of Arab security coordination and operational efforts to counter the spread of drugs and weapons. Momani also stressed the importance of cooperating with the security agencies and reporting any individuals involved in drug promotion and trafficking to preserve societal security and protect children.
