AMMAN — The Crown Prince Foundation (CPF) on Thursday announced that the Nahno volunteer platform offered a total of 1.8 million volunteering hours.
Nahno has released 66,000 registered profiles, 3,500 activities and offered about 200,000 virtual and on-site volunteering opportunities since its launch, in partnership with the CPF’s Naua initiative, UNICEF and the Youth Ministry, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
In a statement, the CPF said that the Naua platform, which was established in partnership with the private sector, has reached more than 650,000 beneficiaries across the Kingdom and collected JD3.7 million in donations.
The organisation channelled the donations to implement 154 projects in cooperation with its partners, charities and civil society organisations.
The Haqiq initiative, implemented in cooperation with the Education Ministry, conducted a total of 182 volunteer activities across the Kingdom since the outbreak of the pandemic, the statement added.
Congratulating young people on the occasion of International Youth Day, CPF CEO Tamam Mango expressed appreciation of youth’s efforts towards serving the country.
She also pointed out that the number of the beneficiaries from CPF's initiatives surpassed 1.8 million.
