AMMAN — The Muslim Brotherhood movement in Jordan on Saturday renewed a call for the immediate release of Zaki Bani Rsheid, the movement’s deputy overall leader, Mohammad Said Bakir and all detained people over suspected activities related to the Palestinian issue.
A statement by the group said that these detentions jeopardise the rights of citizens and contradict efforts aimed at a “unified national front” to confront internal and external challenges.
In a related development, the Brotherhood on Saturday named Saud Abu Mahfouz as its spokesperson.
