Mulki named ASEZA chief; Mahadin appointed as senator

AMMAN — A Royal Decree was issued on Sunday approving the Cabinet’s decision to appoint former minister Hani Mulki as chief commissioner of the Aqaba Special Economic Zone Authority for a four-year term, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.

A second Royal Decree was issued approving the Cabinet’s acceptance of Kamel Mahadin’s resignation as of November 8, while a third decree was issued appointing Mahadin as senator as of November 9.

Mulki’s resignation from the Senate on the same date was approved under another decree, Petra reported.

Mahadin had been serving as ASEZA chief commissioner since August 2012.
