More water cuts in Zarqa due to violations

AMMAN — Pumping through the main pipeline supplying Zarqa with water has been halted since Saturday in order for authorities to fix several violations that resulted in wasting more than 300 cublic metres per hour.
Several areas in the governorates will be affected by the water cut, according to Water Authority of Jordan Secretary General Tawfiq Habashneh, who noted that the pumping will resume Tuesday morning.
