Mexican FM tours Petra

AMMAN — Foreign Minister Nasser Judeh accompanied his Mexican counterpart, José Antonio Meade Kuribreña, on a visit to the ancient city of Petra on Saturday.
Kuribreña and an accompanying delegation toured the the Siq, the Treasury and the Nabataean Theatre in the city, which is one of the New Seven Wonders of the World, and were acquainted with its history.
The Mexican delegates were also briefed on the efforts of the Petra Development and Tourism Region Authority to develop services in the rose-red city, some 235km south of Amman, and enhance its presence on the local and international tourist map.
