Maximum electricity load reached 3,620 megawatts on Sunday — NEPCO

AMMAN — The National Electric Power Company (NEPCO) on Monday said that the maximum electricity load on Sunday night reached 3,620 megawatts, while the load during the day on Sunday stood at 3,340mw. The maximum load this summer reached 3,400mw, while the highest load ever recorded in the Kingdom was in January, standing at 4,010mw, NEPCO said, as reported by the Jordan News Agency, Petra. NEPCO has increased its readiness to deal with the heatwave currently affecting the country, according to Petra.
