AMMAN (JT) — Madaba’s National Aid Fund (NAF) has stopped disbursing JD13,034 in monthly aid to 231 families this year, Manal Maayah, director of Madaba NAF said on Thursday. Meanwhile, the fund has allocated new aid, totalling JD9,770, to 123 families, Maayah said, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
Aid suspension is based on any developments in the beneficiaris’ conditions, which field researchers present to the fund, she said, noting that such developments include marriage, return of the head of the family to work or the death of the beneficiary.
