AMMAN — Madaba Governor Saad Shihab on Monday unveiled a new plan to resolve the city’s ongoing traffic congestion problem.
The plan was drawn up in partnership with concerned parties and civic society institutions, Shihab said, noting that the solution involves the use of inner roads through the implementation of traffic lights and signs that regulate the flow of traffic.
He added that the plan will involve changes in the direction of traffic in some areas and closures of some inlets that are causing congestions.
The new plan is expected to be implemented soon.
