Lattouf discusses domestic violence with local community leaders

AMMAN — Minister of Social Development Hala Lattouf on Sunday discussed with 35 local community leaders means of enhancing ties between family members to avoid domestic violence, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
Lattouf said that the ministry’s plans, especially with children and women, require “advanced” levels of conflict resolution skills, especially regarding minor issues to protect them from falling to crime. The minister listened to the views of leaders, who stressed the importance of social development action, particularly the preventive side, which would enhance the social stability.
