AMMAN — The Labour Ministry on Tuesday said that it launched a comprehensive awareness campaign for all economic sectors and activities, urging them to abide by the instructions to appoint safety and vocational health supervisors.
Stakeholders of the campaign, which will last until the end of April, called on private sector institutions employing 20 workers or more to appoint these supervisors as per the Labour Law, according to a ministry statement.
The ministry said that after the end of the campaign, the inspection teams will implement field tours nationwide to ensure institutions' commitment to appointing the supervisors.
