Labour Ministry exempts Gazans from work permit fees

AMMAN — Labour Minister Ali Ghezawi on Tuesday said that the ministry has exempted Gazans residing in the Kingdom from fees of issuing work permits to “preserve their labour rights”.
Ghezawi made these remarks during a meeting with members of the Lower House Palestine Committee to discuss work permits issued to Gazans, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported. The minister added that salaries of Gazan teachers at the private sector have to be transferred to banks to ensure they receive the minimum wage.
