AMMAN — Kuwaiti businesspeople are in the process of creating projects in the Kingdom that will be announced soon, Kuwaiti Ambassador to Jordan Aziz Dihani said on Saturday, adding that Jordan is “an important gateway for Arab countries”.

During a meeting with members of the Jordan Businessmen Association (JBA), Dihani said that Jordan enjoys an encouraging investment environment, and that the newly endorsed Investment Environment Organisation is eager to encourage and expand investment, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.

Kuwaiti-Jordanian relations receive notable attention of the two countries’ leadership, and there are more than 73 economic agreements, several joint projects and good political ties between Kuwait and Amman, the diplomat said.
