KOICA dispatches new volunteers to Jordan

AMMAN — The Korea International Cooperation Agency's (KOICA) five new volunteers arrived in Jordan on Saturday, according to a statement from KOICA.
Under a March 2006 agreement between Jordan and Korea, the South Korean organisation has sent more than 70 volunteers to the Kingdom to support relevant governmental institutions and local communities.
The five volunteers will conduct various voluntary activities over the span of two years, the statement said.
After eight weeks of in-country training, they will be assigned to their respective organisations.
